The national flag of myanmar is the flag of the republic of myanmar. In 2010, the myanmar government changed the national flag pattern in accordance with the provisions of the constitution of the republic of the union of myanmar on national symbols adopted in 2008. The new national flag was officially launched on October 21, 2010. The national flag is yellow, green and red with a white five-pointed star. The appearance is yellow, green and red three lines, with a white giant pentacle in the middle. Yellow symbolizes unity, green symbolizes peace, tranquility and represents a green country, and red symbolizes courage and determination. The white pentacle represents the union's permanence. The ratio is 2:3.
